Is it wrong that every time I vacuum, I take a look inside the bagless cup to see all the grossness that was sucked up? If it is, I don't want to be right! The new vacuum is mostly awesome, my only complaint is that it's HEAVY. Two thoughts on that: either I'll get an upper body work out, or I'll just not vacuum all that much, like I normally do anyway.
iTunes can suck it. For whatever reason, music I purchased on my laptop will not import to my iPod... AND, music I purchased today on our PC won't play through my laptop--I'm prompted for a password, I put it in, and then the idiot window tells me I've already authorized my 5 computers. Really? Because I only know of 3 computers that use my iTunes account. What the fuck ever, Apple.
So, I'm trying to get the music off of the laptop and onto the PC. The laptop is potentially about to crap all over my life (yay? Oh, wait. NOT.), so the sooner I can get shit off of here, the better (note to readers: I'm on the laptop now... watching this pathetic excuse of a football game). CDs or flash drive? Meh.
Tomorrow, I have to start up the Ghia--I meant to yesterday, but then I got all tied up with work and cleaning... Then I meant to today, but I successfully did not set foot out of the house today. MAN, did that feel good! The cat and I snuggled (!) for a minute, I watched some cooking shows on PBS, "In Bed with Butch" on the LaSalle or Drexel channel, and then did some MASSIVE vacuuming (see note about checking the canister every 5 minutes), and then whipped up a dinner that was inspired by one of the cooking shows watched earlier, but only after getting my Tom and Norm fix with This Old House. Oh, and I managed some sock-knitting, too.
Okay, now I'm just repeating myself. But it's my journal! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Date: 2007-01-22 01:53 pm (UTC)From:now, what about CDs that i've copied to a folder on my desktop? i'm trying to add those to my iTunes but it just about refuses... i'm not really that computer illiterate--you know i'm quite tech savvy. the iTunes, though, is the equivalent, sometimes, of those damn kids on my lawn.
i am an itunes ninja!
Date: 2007-01-22 03:12 pm (UTC)From:As for the CDs that you've copied... what are the format of the files? What I like to do is:
1. Copy that folder into the iTunes music folder
2. Click & drag that folder into iTunes
This should work as long as iTunes isn't horking on the file format.
