Work is kicking my ass. I'm leaving work with less done and more to do every day. Today, we had THREE full-time staff all day. THREE. That's one librarian, one guard, and one clerk. I was only interrupted three times during my lunch, though the other two were not interrupted AT ALL during their lunches. I suppose that's why I'm the boss. I'm looking forward to the weekend more than usual. Vast stretches of nothing to do!

I hope that the road crew doesn't decide to eat the asphalt on Henry Avenue at 2:30a AGAIN. No wonder when I see a road that's been "reclaimed" I think, "Why have I never seen this as it was happening?" BECAUSE IT IS A COVERT OPERATION! The equipment is quiet, too, in a relative sense. Still, once it woke me up, I couldn't get back to sleep until I turned on some white noise.

Mike's coming home soon with milk and a GF pizza. I'm going to put on my PJs and fix a margarita.

OMG, why did they rip up Henry!!!!? They are eating up all the roads in Philadelphia, it is driving me crazy. Couldn't they spend the money to fight crime or something? Josh and I went to get water ice last night and noticed the covert operation in progress. Did Mike go to Norristown to get you GF pizza!??? YUM! He probably had a bumpy ride since there are no roads left in Philadelphia....

Not Norristown, Doylestown. And, no... He stopped at Whole Foods and got a frozen soy cheese (blech) pizza. It was good enough, but will probably never be consumed AGAIN.
