Three cheers
Jun. 4th, 2007 02:41 pmI woke up this morning and my left eye felt blurry. I figured the contact had shifted and it would pop back in place eventually. No such luck, so I found myself standing in front of the mirror doing eyelid aerobics to no end. Giving up, I decided I'd take the other contact out and wear my glasses. Except, I took out the contact before I located my glasses... So, I then decide to put new contacts in, get them out of the closet, put them in, and then use the toilet. While I'm sitting there with my pants down, I spy a blue-ish shard in a fold of my pants' leg--the missing contact. How the hell it got in my pants, I just don't want to know.
Worked on the boat with Mike yesterday. As we were getting ready to head home, I took a peek at the weather outside and scowled--pourinating! I sucked it up, though, figuring a wet ride home is better than a wet ride in... Then, as we rolled out of the Engineering Building, the rain let up to a fine mist. We had a dry-ish ride home and would have missed the rain entirely if we hadn't found ourselves walking the last mile or so. I got a flat just before coming up on 29th and Clearfield. We were both too pooped to fuss with that last night, but hopefully I can take care of my bike tonight or tomorrow.
I'm pretty sure I need to swear off Lush bath bombs...
