Everybody, move your feet!

Comment and I'll:
1 - Tell you why I friended you. (If you're on my f-list, that is.)
2 - Associate you with something - a song, a colour, a photo, etc. (I removed fandom and sexual position because 1, I don't know nothing about fandoms and 2, uh, unless you're Pie, I try not to associate my friends with sexual positions... except for that one time when I imagined one of you... HA!)
3 - Tell you something I like about you.
4 - Tell you a memory I have of you.
5 - Associate you with a character/pairing.
6 - Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
7 - Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
8 - In return, you must post this in your LJ.

1 - I think I semi-stalked you? I dunno, somehow I learned you had an LJ during one of our Drexel classes and then put my lieberry skills to work. Or maybe that was a dream I had. But I friended you because I liked you and looked for you at the start of each quarter to see if we had the same class! SO I COULD WATCH YOU KNIT.
2 - Even though I didn't see the show, I associate you with Elvis/Pelvis Costello.
3 - You have an infectious and devious smile.
4 - Learning that Rufus dresses left.
5 - I don't understand this question, really... But I associate you with rats. If the rats happen to be in movies or books (like Nimh) even better.
6 - What was it like moving from Kalamazoo to PHL?
7 - It's a tie between drinkycrow and Life Aquatic.
8 - In return, you must post this in your LJ.

Moving from Kalamazoo to Philadelph-I-ay was definitely a big change -- learning how to navigate public transit (I seriously didn't take a bus for like a year because I was all nervous about taking the wrong one and not being able to get back home), trying to make connections with people, getting used to sometimes getting on the subway and being the only white person in the car... I honestly fell in love with Philly the first time I visited, though, and I still love it; it's so much more neighborhood-y and friendly than Kalamazoo. In Kzoo, you pretty much had to have a car to get anywhere, and a lot of times the college campus felt like this oasis in between strip malls or something. So I was just entranced that I could go outside at any time of night and there would be people walking around and doing their pedestrian thing. :)
